Our Vision
The vision of The Ordered Steps is to provide an opportunity for the poor and hopeless to improve their lives by alleviating poverty and elevating themselves and their families to a better economic and spiritual status.
Our Mission
The heart of the mission of The Ordered Steps is to provide everyone with an opportunity to do what they do best in order to achieve something greater than themselves.
Our Three-Fold Purpose
TOWARDS ELEVATING THE QUALITY OF LIFE
1. To assist in elevating the quality of life of the Indian people:
We desire to develop an industry where micro-industry products are made locally, then exported to other countries. Our primary aim is to provide jobs for the Indian people so as to elevate their quality of life. From this, we seek to nurture and assist the Indian people involved in this work to be knowledgeable in primary financial matters, like saving, budgeting and spending wisely. This then leads to better provision of education for their children and healthier family care, and also a better equipped society. One final step would be raising an entrepreneurial spirit within the Indian people themselves in order for them to begin small businesses to independently enhance their standard of living.
OPENING DOORS OF CHANGE
2. To create awareness for people producing and purchasing the products:
We want to alert the corporate and business world that there are avenues available for them to touch lives and bring healthy changes to the less fortunate. One such avenue is the purchase of micro-industry products for corporate and business purposes, especially in the paper industry. They and their companies can do their bit while in no way jeopardizing their business or budget.
Meanwhile, for the workers behind the products, we want to create an awareness towards an appreciation for life that includes better food, better education, better relationships, and mature Christian spiritual growth.
SOWING THAT CAN CHANGE LIVES
3. To involve as many people as possible in this cause:
We want to provide an avenue and opportunity for people worldwide, with whatever skills they may have, to be a part of the work in India. Whatever one is able and interested in doing, there will be a place for him/her in this ministry. You do not need to be someone else, or be good at something that you're not. We just want you as you are. We want to connect people who are more affluent with those who are less fortunate so that each can bring a depth and richness to the other's life.
